Part 2162-2/622 - Rubber Diamond Design Stair Treads
A New Design Nose - will easily adjust and adhere to steps with return angle nosings between 90 degrees and 60 degrees; allows good fit on stairways designed for safety or aesthetics. The original molded rubber diamond design stair tread half diamond design, half smooth; with a longer adjustable nose to fit pan filled, molded concrete or terrazzo steps. Diamond design surface is 6" deep, covers impact area of pedestrian traffic. Meets Federal Specs. RR-T-650E and ZZ-T-001237(GSA-FSS). Install with Neoprene Contact Adhesive or Rubber Flooring Adhesive; use Epoxy Nose Caulk for longer wear and added safety. Improve appearance, add safety and durability, lessen traffic noise in schools, hospitals, banks, theatres, hotels, airports, restaurants, factories, malls; all heavily travelled stairways.

Not only will this 2" depth completely cover pan-filled step nosing, it adjusts from 90 degrees to 60 degrees, to accommodate stairways with return angle nosings. Makes stairways safer for handicapped. Fine for all but heaviest travelled stairways. Meets Federal Specs RR-T-650E nd ZZ-T-001237. Grit-Surface Aluminum Stair Treads
Renovate slippery, dangerous, worn stairs, protect new stairs. Install OUTDOORS or INDOORS on wood, concrete, treated lumber, slate or marble steps. Offers slip resistant surface - use for churches, motels, schools, apartments, amusement parks, condos, clinics, cruise ships, etc. Diamond hard aluminum oxide abrasives combined with "space age" polymeric binders are bonded to a heat treated high strength aluminum square nose stair tread.

The 9" and 11" deep treads have a 1" tapered aluminum back edge

The 7-1/2" tread has a rounded back edge that can be butted to the filler pieces for extra tread depth

Treads and fillers are available solid (for glue-down applications) or with countersunk holes (for screw-down applications)

Two holes are countersunk every 12"

Part 2565-10402/775 - Epoxy Flooring Adhesive
The only recommended adhesive for use with Disc-O-Tile. May be used with other rubber stair treads, tile and flooring. Because of flame spread properties, other adhesives will not bond Disc-O-Tile to the floor. A two-part solvent-free adhesive; contains 1 can Part A 1 can Part B, and a stirring paddle. Covers approximately 150 square feet per unit. Approximately 12 lbs each unit.

Epoxy dry time is 15 to 20 minutes. Only mix enough adhesive at a time to use in 15 minutes to avoid premature drying.

Part 2565/110 - Epoxy Nose Caulk
Recommended for all Stair Tread installations. Nose Caulk is necessary when installing Adjusta-Nose treads or when the step nosing is broken, worn or rounded. This two-part Epoxy Caulk will fill voids at the nose of the step and give needed support underneath the stair tread nose. Nose Caulk can also be used to repair the top surface of the step. Two-part mixture in quart units (mixing instructions on label).

Dual-Cartridge dispensers save time, labor, mess, and cleanup. Trigger stokes automatically mix the two-part Epoxy as both compounds travel through the mixing nozzle. Dual-Cartridge yields approx. 50 lineal feet of 1/4" bead; quart unit yields approximately 75ft.

Both the ECD-18 and the ECD-26 dipensers have two mix ratio cartidges of 200ml x 200ml, side-by-side design, in-line rods (no bending), component replaceable parts, and a wear compesating device (no trigger loss.

Epoxy dry time is 15-20 minutes. When mixing parts, only mix enough to use in 15 minutes or less.
